The Mithila Cultural Society UK (MCS UK) is a not-for-profit, religious community dedicated to preserving and promoting Mithila’s living heritage—its Maithili language, Madhubani art, literature, music, customs, and festivals. We bring together Maithils and friends of Mithila across the UK through workshops, cultural events, learning circles, and collaborative programmes that celebrate identity while welcoming everyone. By inspiring our youth with the stories, values, and artistry of Mithila—and by supporting creativity and community service—we strive to keep our shared heritage vibrant for generations.
